Well, no fuck you Mozilla assholes, that is NOT true!

"Political correctness has done us so much good"

And here we have it, Mozilla joins for another time the anti-democracy and anti free-speech side, not that it would be MUCH surprising that Mozilla hangs out there since quite some time already.

What to expect from a demented and totally corrupted and full-time commercialized pseudo Open Source developer who sells their unique customization set and power users for being Chrome users attractive only.

Same like Opera (while not Open Source - still so very much related) - just 2 Google junkies on the way of self-deprecation!

Enjoy your Anti-freedom Nazi organization Mozilla! Join the Mozitler youth, they are waiting for you already!

Blessings and out!

My wife and I tried some delicious new yogurt we found at the store. We came home from shopping and then found that on her IG and my FB there were ads for this very brand yogurt. We immediately concluded that FB had to be listening to us through the microphone, to target ads. How could targeted advertising be this good? But then I had an even scarier realization. What if they know our demographics so well they KNEW that we would want that yogurt. Here we are thinking we are living free and independent lives, when really our every desire is already tracked by our age, interests, social groups, etc. Thoughts?

I finally got around to replacing my PC/CDROM that was almost 8 years old. Going to a Ryzen 7 1700/16 gig ram/1 TB SSD/and a Radeon 580 (picked the worst time to try to find a video card it seemed).

My question is I've been on Windows 7 forever and refused the free upgrade to 10 when it was offered because it was too new, intrusive, and every other article was about privacy and control issues. Now that I'm upgrading I can't really decide what to do.

I understand that Microsoft doesn't support Ryzen on Windows 7 or 8 (though I did find the workarounds to that just in case I choose one of them) but I'm still hesitant to go to 10. I know you can turn all the spying stuff off though I don't trust it really does completely and a few articles have even been written about it. Also the fact that it makes you update eventually is shady to me. Means they can force whatever they want down your throat just like they are trying to force me to go to 10 because I bought a new processor.

I was thinking about going to 8.1 with the classic shell because it runs quicker and is more efficient than 7 but won't be that big of a change. Is that dumb to go to 8.1 since it never really took hold in the market? Am I being paranoid about 10? Should I just make the jump? Or should I just stick with 7?

FYI mostly game, listen to music, and watch porn. THANKS FRIENDS.

As you can see... i am in the market and have been looking around for months figuring out which one i want and i cant decide. My problem is i want a gaming tv with low input lag, which would be the C7 but the burn in potential scares me. But i love the oled tech and the sonys are only LED. I only mention these three because they are in my price range. The SONY X930E 65 inch is 2000. C7 65 inch is 2700. And the sony X900E 75 in is 2600. (Thats why the 900 is here. Bigger tv and FALD). I have read forums and forums all torn down the middle. Looked over everything in RTINGS to try to find out more and still end up close. I feel like if i get a sony im missing out on new tech. But if i get the c7 and it does burn in then im shit out of luck. Specs of the room its going in is medium to high brightness in windows, reflections medium, seating is between 8-13 feet away and from width perspective end to end its about 80-90 degrees (45 degrees off center). So please. For the love if 4chan. Convince me one way or another. Kind of unrelated but i love LG and sony has burned me before. So i have a bias. Which means maybe if i didnt hae a bias this would be clear cut. You tell me. Thanks!

Hey /g/ sorry if this is breakin any rules im too lazy to go through the sticky.
I have a couple simple questions, what is your reccomendations for building a new gaming PC?
My budget is $800~ (before tax) i can go above that but i would prefer not to go over $900.
I had a gaming laptop for a few years but i had to get maintenance on it every year or so and it finally kicked the bucket.
I know next to nothing about pc building and im not tech savvy but my friend is going to give me some help building it.
Also what is a good anti virus?
Ive been using mcafee livesafe and its done ok but not that amazing

- Fewer bugs
- Better performance
- Lower memory footprint
- Better maintainability
- Higher scalability

Never realized just how ridiculous the new Linksys WRT series actually is until I looked up some board shots.
It looks like they told the engineers "Go absolutely bananas, we don't care about profit margins on this one."
It actually looks like one of Linksys' internal development boards that they threw a heatsink on, and put in a nice case.
The heatsink is absolutely insane for a consumer product, and the PCB layout is unlike anything I've seen in a router before. They even broke out the serial port for you to connect to (no JTAG though, which is a minor disappointment)

If you can load http://localhost:10000 , even if it says 'invalid request', you are allegedly vulnerable.
Some argue the exploit hits a dead end in 2.2.1, and is completely absent from 1.6.1. But that shit's from 2007.

I had a split second power outage and now my cpu is overheating. It auto shuts off after the temps go from 40 to 84 in a matter of minutes.

I have an h100i pump and the fans are spinning but I don’t feel the pump vibrating.

Do you guys think my h100i died? Trying to figure out what is causing this.
