E3 Xbox One demo powered by Intel gaming PCs with Geforce GTX graphics cards. Fail.

It has been revealed that the E3 Xbox One demo was actually running on gaming PCs that had Geforce GTX graphics cards and were running Windows 8. This might mean that they were using some form of emulation to run the Xbox One games. Either that or the games were actually for Windows. Maybe the Xbox One uses a Windows operating system instead of any other proprietary operating system and you can actually use a Windows PC to run the games. But maybe not. This is a failure for the Xbox One team, but you cannot even see the Xbox sitting there at all; you would think that the company would want to show off the plain-looking Xbox One. Although it does look rather like an old Betamax player. Very plain looking; the design is that of a utilitarian piece of home entertainment hardware rather than a flashy and exciting gaming console. We will have to wait for the actual release of the Xbox One console to see what becomes of this gaming machine. Still; this is another embarrassing debacle for the embattled Redmond WA corporation. This is on top of the Windows 8 operating system release and the Modern UI.

But they will have to learn to roll with the punches. Microsoft has had other embarrassing failures like the Windows demos that resulted in a BSOD popping up. This does not help; maybe they should program Windows so that this does not occur. Why bother showing up to E3 if you do not even have the actual console to show to the attendees. That is quite a fail indeed. Why even bother. There was this anonymous posting on 4chan that was allegedly posted by an Xbox engineer that spoke about the console. He has quite a lot to get off his chest, this could be a real rant from a Microsoft employee or just someone that wants to influence the console market by pretending to be an employee of Redmond WA and making a scene. But read this posting and make up your own mind about what he has to say.
