The popular football simulation Football Manager is coming out with a 2014 version that will feature native Linux support. This is good news for Linux users who are also fans of the world game and want to play a quality simulation of football. Linux has some games on Steam and the addition of this quality title will further enhance the reputation of Linux as an operating system for gaming. it is about time that a full football simulation game came to Linux. it is not only Windows that has quality games. Along with Unreal Tournament 2004, Freedoom, and Doom3, we now have another quality game to play on a free and open-source desktop alternative. DOTA 2 is also available for Linux; this is another very promising game that Linux users may enjoy. DOTA 2 on Steam: http://store.steampowered.com/app/570/. Crytek; the creators of the Crysis games and the Cry engine have a job opening for a Linux programmer; this could mean that they are planning to create a Linux version of the famous Crysis games. This is good news for fans of this game series. I just wish there was a Linux version of Far Cry 2.

The zombie game Left 4 Dead 2 is also headed to Linux with a Linux binary available. This is good news for fans of zombie killing. Bring on the head splattering fun!
