Great post I am piannlng on making the steep climb up the curve later this year with Linux Ubuntu. I use alot of open source in my work so its time to take another Thanks for the post
The Ubuntu distribution is a good distro, but it would be best to use Kubuntu 12.04 instead of Ubuntu as that has the Unity desktop. I recommend KDE 4.8.0 for the Linux desktop.
