Many websites are banning porn to please advertisers and for the safety of children. Reddit and Twitter allow it and they were created decades ago but lately it feels like they are going to ban it one of these days. New websites just don't allow NSFW posts at all. Porn sites like Pornhub are getting attacked by new anti-porn laws every day. Are you downloading your porn? Because I think you should hoard it. Make backups. In 20 years all porn sites could be gone from the internet. The age of free internet porn will be over. Even 4chan will be permanently dyed blue. How are you preparing for it?

I need to expand some texts on a row in a .doc file by running it via an AI prompt and paste the results in a designated cell of a table in a new document file. I can do this manually but there's 200 rows. Do you know how I can streamline the process?

I have ChatGPT-4, but I heard Gemini and Claude are better for something like this. My guess would be this:
>Create a template table with labeled cells
>upload temple.doc and data.doc
>tell AI to expand the text from each rows from data.doc
>tell AI to use template.doc
>tell AI to paste the expanded text on the corresponding labeled cells in templace.doc
>tell AI to give me the output as output.doc

However, this results in only 1 finished page from 1 row. So, the challenge is how do the AI run through all rows in data.doc and making 1 page of each row, ideally all in only 1 prompt?

/hsg/ is about learning and expanding your horizons. Know all about NAS? Learn virtualization. Spun up some VMs? Learn about networking by standing up a OPNsense/PFsense box and configuring some VLANs. There's always more to learn and chances to grow. Think you’re god-tier already? Setup OpenStack and report back.

>What software should I run?
Install Gentoo. Or whatever flavor of *nix is best for the job or most comfy for you. Jellyfin/Emby/Plex to replace Netflix, Nextcloud to replace Googlel, Ampache/Navidrome to replace Spotify, the list goes on. Look at the awesome self-hosted list and ask.

>Why should I have a home server?
/hsg/ is about learning and expanding your horizons. De-botnet your life. Learn something new. Serving applications to yourself, your family, and your frens feels good. Put your tech skills to good use for yourself and those close to you. Store their data with proper availability redundancy and backups and serve it back to them with a /comfy/ easy to use interface.

Upload the file somewhere and post the link here. If you want to update your track, make a new post.
If possible use a lossless format and upload to a file-sharing service, not to a music site like Vocaroo or SoundCloud.

When you post the submission make sure that the song is clearly a submission for the album, otherwise it might get skipped.
Songs that contain anything against YouTube's policies won't be uploaded on YT (but will still be added to the album).

Especially thin laptops.

The Macbook Air M3 weighs 1490g.
The Huawei Matebook X weighs 980g.

Who does this stuff appeal to? They're easier to break, and they're less powerful than thick laptops that weighs 3-4 times as much, since there is much more powerful hardware instead.

fastlisp users have adopted some rules called VAG: values of active gamers

Some of the rules is people should be able to speak freely unless they are preventing code to be written, you can't reject pull requests except for technological reasons, as soon as a project with a coc exists you must fork it with a vag, and donation funds may only be spent on something that helps the code or it must be saved.

What do you guys think of fastlisp's vag? Does it produce better or worse code than a coc?

FAQ:
>How do I activate Windows?
https://github.com/massgravel/Microsoft-Activation-Scripts
HWID2 mimics a valid installation to generate a permanent legitimate license.

>Which version should I install?
W10 Enterprise IoT LTSC 2021
-10 yrs support, EoL 2032
-5 yrs on non-IoT LTSC
-No feature updates
-Comes with Win32 system utils
-Binary identical to Enterprise except no MS Store and no bloat apps
-If you need MS Store run this in cmd: wsreset -i
-Basically Windows: Classic 9x/XP/7 Edition, 10 years support and you decide when you want to update/upgrade

W10/W11 Home/Pro/Edu/Ent
-Dont install
-1.5-2 yrs support
-Constant forced updates
-Preinstalled bloatware apps (games, music, news, weather, people, onedrive, ads in start menu, etc)
*W11 specific
*Massive UI usability downgrades
*Taskbar removed features and options
*File explorer rewritten w/ reduced performance
*Has new CPU scheduler to support 12th+ gen Intel E-cores (its only redeeming feature)

>Is there a good version of W11?
No, 11 IoT LTSC *might* be good when released 24H2.

>How do I activate Office?

Alternatively, use MSOffice through your browser since it's free,
or try OnlyOffice/LibreOffice and set it to save as MSOffice file formats.

How many times did this happen to you /g ?
You're searching for something.
You see a link to youtube that seems to have the info you're looking for, with an english description, english on the thumb pic, author with an english name.. So you click...
Then the video starts and you hear picrel speaking IN INDIAN!
Why in the holly name of FUUUUUUUCK do they do that!!? If their audience is indian speaking, why do they use english for the title and description!? You never see a german or french or russian or japanese do that, only indians. WHY!?
Or at best the guy is speaking english (somewhat) but with an accent so bad you think it's indian anyway... And yet I live in France so I know about horrible accents but, man... And all the comments are in indian anyway, so it's indian guys speaking in english to other indians...

Useful archiving efforts and other projects to help out with:

HIGH priority (If you don't help archive these automatically, the data will probably be lost forever):

1. Help out automatically archive things being shut down right now by running ArchiveTeam Warrior program (or specific containers) in the background:
Requirements: Few GB of space, some bandwidth and small amount of CPU power, more info: https://wiki.archiveteam.org/index.php/ArchiveTeam_Warrior
http://warrior.archiveteam.org/

2. Help out automatically forward URLs you browse that are not archived on https://archive.org to them for archival with a browser extension:

as a guy in tech this is why you need to build money and status before looks

the former can always be exchanged for the latter but not vice versa

men who specialize in looks early become washed up losers

men who run hybrid specialties never push the envelope on any area, become mediocre

I mean, the only options seem to be credit card (KYC) or Coinbase (KYC). Why can't I just send some Litecoins to some wallet without doxxing myself? What if I just pay the pass "as a gift" is that going to be credible in any way?

I'd rather solve a Google captcha to verify my email (/biz/ only), then wait 300 seconds to be able to solve a Cloudflare captcha followed by a 4chan captcha then give the admins my name.

RTINGS just BTFOd all CRT haters and doubters.
Gamma-corrected cumulative deviation measurements that they now use, were pioneered by a CRT fag called a5hun. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MbZUgKpzTA0
All major display reviewers (RTINGS, Hardware Unboxed, TFTCentral ...) have now switched to a5hun's method. CRTfags, we're winning.

Maybe some day we'll also get the motion clarity of 1900's back. More likely now than ever before, as every major reviewer is putting emphasis on the sample&hold problem.

Haskell gets some resistance due to the complexity of using monads to control side effects. We have car factories where an entire car can be manufactured, by glass, to the aluminum body, to the assembly, without a single human worker.

Even low end places like McDonald's can be fully staffed with robots, without a singe human worker, outside of the people that restock

With this amount of automatic sophistication, why do we STILL have human jobs? Why do some places STILL employ human workers?

Please explain this
int main(){

vector<int> numbers = {5,2,8,1,50,20,14,22};

cout << "Array:" << endl;
copy(numbers.begin(), numbers.end(), ostream_iterator<int>(cout, " "));

sort(numbers.begin(), numbers.end());

cout << "\nThe array is now sorted" << endl;
cout << "Sorted vector:" << endl;
copy(numbers.begin(), numbers.end(), ostream_iterator<int>(cout, " "));

return 0;
}

~  ./test
Array:

The array is now sorted
Sorted vector:

for me it's
multithreading
non blocking LSP
more treesitter modes
better scrollbar (yes I use it)
ability to scroll without moving the point
the ability to hide the echo area when not in use
a few small minute fixes and changes to the default face

the following are very opinionated
vertico+marginalia+consult+orderless+embark included in core emacs
corfu included in core emacs
some structured navigation and editing package included in core emacs
