Very useful Google search terms for finding useful information in 2023.


There are a lot of useful search terms to find interesting information on the Internet. There are Apache servers that have the server-status feature exposed on the Internet.

Use this Google Dork to find these exposed servers.

inurl: "server-status"

This is very interesting to look at. Here is an example: http://fiuc.org/server-status.

Security seems to be an afterthought in 2023. You would think a website based in Rome would have actual security in the Apache config, but no.

Find all fresh installations of the Apache web server using this Google Dork.

intitle:"Test Page for the Apache HTTP Server on Fedora Core" intext:"Fedora Core Test Page"

This Google Dork will find all web servers that do not have an index.php, this can lead to some interesting finds sometimes.

intitle:"Index of" "Apache/2.4.7 (Ubuntu) Server"

Yet another way to find the Apache server version.

inurl:"server-status" "Server Version: Apache/" "Server Built: " "Server uptime:" "Total accesses" "CPU Usage:"

HTTP File Server instances. This will find all open instances that can provide useful service information.

intitle:"HFS" "Server Uptime" "Server time"

Find all open Advanced Extranet Server instances. This is another very useful search term. This can print information about the operating system it is running on and the PHP version. This would be very pertinent information for gathering data about a website.

Here is an example: This site is powered by: Apache-AdvancedExtranetServer/2.0.53 (Mandrakelinux/PERUSER-8mdk) mod_ssl/2.0.53 OpenSSL/0.9.7d PHP/4.3.10!.

intitle:"Welcome to the Advanced Extranet Server, ADVX!"

Find IPC@chip embedded webservers. This provides very interesting networking information.

intitle:"IPC@CHIP Infopage"
