I found this amazing map of Earth as a Minecraft map. This is run by 4chan but seems to be an interesting server, with quite a few areas on the massive world map, like Neo Atlanta and Bayblon in Africa.

Requires Java. This seems like a chill server. Texas and Las Vegas seem to be empty, this needs more building and more TNT blocks. I have never played Minecraft, but it would be fun to build things and explore the map in detail. It might look different in first-person mode. I am not sure what this is supposed to be: http://map.vmcraft.me/#earth;surface;975,64,-3133;7. Maybe just water storage for the parched African regions that do not get much rainfall.
