New Stalker mod in the works with a 1:1 Pripyat map.


There is a new Stalker mod in the works. This has a 1:1 Pripyat map that will be the largest Stalker map ever. Here is a screenshot of the work in progress map. This mod is based upon the Call of Pripyat game engine. Hopefully, this comes out, it would be more amazing than Stalker 2. Despite the current events in Ukraine I hope this mod can come to fruition. It would be amazing to tour a true scale Pripyat map with the buildings from Shadow of Chernobyl and Call of Pripyat. I hope the КБО Юбилейный is modelled very well. Sure the Call of Pripyat map is pretty big but imagine a fully realised Pripyat map that is 1:1 scale. Considering the size of the Pripyat city in real life, this will be quite an achievement to make such a massive game world. But using several passes over the terrain it will be possible. Placing buildings first and trees plus other vegetation, then all other clutter and interactive objects. This is not impossible but would take a very long time to do. But making a good game is a labour of love. This map will even include the Duga radar installation. It might just be a decoration in the distance. I hope it includes the Jupiter factory as well.

  • – Ability to enter 95% of the buildings – Unique caches
  • – Partial settlement of the location with various characters
  • – Improved graphics (build from CrommCruac)
  • – Modified version of the X-Ray engine – Percentage of readiness of Pripyat: 70-75%

Авторы модификации «Живая Зона» поделились последней информацией по разработке локации города «Припять». Практически все здания созданы, задеталены и установлены на террейн. Из более чем четырехсот строений заканчивается работа всего над несколькими зданиями, все они так же готовы, однако появился материал и время на то, чтобы их улучшить. Конкретно сейчас идет работа по детализации КБО Юбилейный.

Замена внутренней части и детализация всех домов серии 111-125-8. Додетализация и доработки здания Нового Гастронома. В данный момент начинается редактирование террейна и наполнения улиц.
