Stalker Anomaly mod not perfect.

The Stalker Anomaly beta 3.0 mod is plagued by poor AI according to a few players. This means it is inferior to other older mods like Dead Air. But the main problem is the levels are not occupied by many enemies, compared to Dead Air, they are empty and lifeless, other than the ambient background sounds, there is nothing in many maps. Apparently, the spawns are slow and this results in empty maps. This is disappointing. I am playing as monolith, I have gone all the way from Pripyat Outskirts to Army Warehouses, and still no enemies. Why does this happen in Anomaly? I wanted to kill dudes in Freedom base and then take over the map. Stalkers and Mutants are set at 0.75. But it makes no difference, the player would have to edit the mod to enable spawns to be more numerous. They put effort into adding far more vegetation to maps and make them look very nice, and the frame rate is good, but the lack of spawns is a marked contrast to Dead Air, which did it better. But Dead Air lacked a lot of ambient sounds that I like, the ambient screams and groans really add to the atmosphere of the levels.

It is hard to imagine playing without them. Hopefully in the next release they can address these shortcomings, as it makes playing this mod very boring.

Modding this mod is very annoying, it breaks so easily, compared to Dead Air. That mod also has the player model rendered, you can look down and see your legs. This is quite a unique feature. Anomaly does not even have that yet. Hopefully the new Dead Air mod with new gas mask animations will make Stalkers happier in the new year.
