The beta of Stalker Oblivion Lost 3.0 is now available. This is the latest version of the Oblivion Lost 3.0 Stalker mod, it is a remake of the very old Stalker builds from 2002. It seems it will be a great way to showcase the build maps of the early Stalker builds. This is what Stalker could have been if it had not been forced to a release in 2007. The build maps have very long roads along them and require the use of vehicles unless you wish to endure a very long walk. They do look very nice. The Cordon map with the very high cliffs looks just great, it just needs more detail. The initial gameplay is just like the old OLR 2.5 mod, it is a lot of fun. The only enemies I found were rats and soldiers at the military checkpoint. There is an electronic device at the top of the factory building, plus food in the buildings in the rookie village. So you can get started even if you start with low health and armour. This is a hotly anticipated mod and rightly so, players love to play build maps. And the 2002 Stalker Oblivion Lost concept is amazing. Even the very old version with the robot chicken turrets and the Aztec map. I just love the look of the older build maps.
Download this mod from the Mega link and then unpack. Install the patch and then run Oblivion Lost Remake.exe. This runs even on Windows 11. I uploaded this to Mega as the Yandex and Google Drive links keep getting overloaded and you can not download the mod. But this is a standalone mod, it does not require Stalker Shadow of Chernobyl, just unpack and run.
