A very nice Wireless USB dongle to allow easy roaming when using Ubuntu or Mint on a laptop.

This USB wireless dongle allows easy connectivity to 2.5 GHZ and 5 GHZ wireless networks using Ubuntu. I have used this on Windows 11 and Ubuntu, this works a treat. It even works with Kali Linux to use monitor mode to capture WiFi handshakes using aircrack-ng. Making it most useful to perform penetration testing on a corporate network. Cracking WiFi using aircrack or Wifite is still a worthwhile pursuit and this hardware can make it very easy to do. The only caveat is that if you are using Alma Linux LTS, this distribution will have an older kernel and may not support this hardware. But otherwise, it will work perfectly. On Ubuntu 23.10 and Kali Linux 2024, this works instantly when plugged in.

Realtek 8811CU USB WiFi Adapter.

Find the store page here: Temu.com.

This also works out of the box on Windows 11. There is also a driver available for Rasberry PI ARM architecture. Download the driver from GitHub.

This will get the hardware working on Rasberry PI.
