Facebook leaked data is not new.

The leaked Facebook data is from 2019, this has been passed around for a long time before this became public. Many accounts may not even be in this, it is nearly 3 years old now. There are 105 countries in this, not 106. But the point is that the data is not new and was leaked a long time ago. They make a fuss of it now when it is actually old news.

The format of the leak is:

Phone Number : Facebook Profile ID : First Name : Last Name : Gender : Current Location : Birthplace : Relationship Status : Occupation : Last Login : Email : DOB

But there are a massive amount of phony accounts with incrementing phone numbers. This goes to show that Facebook is full of fake accounts as it is very easy to create a mass amount of accounts with bot scripts even if a phone number is required. Facebook cannot even secure user data, this data was ripped using an API call that was not properly configured and allowed countless accesses to download such a huge amount of data from Facebook. So this is really nothing, just old data from 2019. But they do need better security on the social media platform. There is also the GAB leak, this is 70 GiB of Gab public posts, private posts, user profiles, hashed passwords for users, DMs, and plaintext passwords for groups. View this leak here: https://ddosecrets.com/wiki/GabLeaks. This might be worth a look. I wonder how long until a massive Instagram or TikTok leak. It is only a matter of time in these uncertain times. Computer security is not taken as seriously as it should in 2021. There are other leaks on that website as well like Minnesota Proud Boys videos from Facebook. So do not post anything on Facebook you will regret being leaked. It will be on the Internet forever.
