Is Microsoft adding sudo to Windows? Are they turning Windows into Linux?

Microsoft is adding sudo to Windows. Is this part of turning Windows into Linux? They have added Windows Services for Linux to allow running Linux distributions inside Windows, now they are adding sudo? This is very interesting. To replace the runas command, they are adding sudo instead. But this would be easier to use. Will they add a version of Xterm next? That would be good. Making the user experience easier is a good thing, this is the key to making Windows more fun to use. Although I miss the Windows Classic theme and look of Windows 2000. It looked so professional. Or the Aero Glass look of Windows Vista. That was very special. The Windows Vista sidebar was a very nice addition. Now that Windows looks like Mac OSX, it seems to have lost its way. Bring back the old Windows Classic theme and then we can talk. This is one thing Microsoft should do. Just a pity that after installing the Windows 11 build 26040, and downloading the newer build, it takes ages to get anything installed, Microsoft download servers are so slow.

I guess any alternative to running Windows Terminal as Administrator is a good thing, this is an interesting development for Windows for sure. It would be very useful for Windows Server admins.
