It is very easy to make the Gnome desktop look like Windows 10. This is a great look for a Linux desktop. There is an awesome GTK theme that can make Gnome look like Windows 10. I am using Gnome Fallback to emulate Gnome 2.32 and the Windows 10 theme is a good solution to improve my desktop.
Download a Windows 10 GTK theme here: https://github.com/B00merang-Project/Windows-10. Put the contents into the ~/.themes/Windows-1o folder and then select the theme using the Gnome Tweaks utility.
Download the Windows 10 icon theme here: https://github.com/B00merang-Project/Windows-10-Icons/archive/master.zip. Install this under the ~/.icons folder and use the Gnome Tweaks utility to select this theme.

To get a nice Windows `95 theme for Xfce, download this theme pack. This would look very good for a retro desktop theme.
