The new Windows 10 update KB4520062 Could Break Defender ATP, Microsoft Warns. This is yet another embarrassment for the software giant, they cannot even release a simple update without it breaking a key Windows feature. They should really create a whole new codebase and then use that to create an entirely new version of Windows. The Windows 10 operating system is so big, it is breaking when new features are added, this is a sign of a massively bloated codebase. This is not good for One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052. This is going to pile further humiliation on to the Windows executives. Will people finally stop trusting Microsoft and move on to something else? I guess normal people will still use Windows 10. They will use anything. But I would hate to use a Windows OS that kept breaking when I installed any updates. That is not how things should be in anno 2019. Other companies can manage to put out updates that do not break so much stuff as Microsoft. It is not very hard to use proper and intensive testing to verify that things work before releasing the updates. But they are too lazy. if they had a Windows dev build, then it could test the updates.
This would find problems before releasing the update to a mainstream build. But again, Microsoft are too lazy for this and will not implement that sort of testing. Having a few users out in the wild running a testing build that receives the updates and they can test the build and report to a feedback tracker with problems could work fine. Of course, they will never do this, but it would be great idea.
