Firefox addons still not working again. They have really screwed up.

The developers of Firefox have really screwed up right now. The certificate that they used to certify addons has expired and now the addons do not work. This is a monumental screw up by Mozilla. They cannot even manage simple certificates without it expiring because someone was too lazy to fix it in a hurry. It should be automatically renewing the certificate, but it is not. They could not even be bothered checking if it was due to be renewed. This means that countless people cannot use addons that they depend upon. Like if you had important passwords saved in Lastpass and you cannot get the passwords out, this means that you cannot login to a website, unless the user logs into the Lastpass website and copies the password to paste into the password field. Mozilla are planning to remove many addons by only verifying certain ones. This means that other popular addons will not work anymore. This is why it might be a good idea in the future to get a better web browser like Opera or Chromium.

Firefox alternatives

Opera. https://www.opera.com/computer.

This web browser is very fast, and comes with a built-in ad-blocker, and VPN. A very secure choice for the avid Internet user. This is available for Macintosh operating system, Linux and Windows.

Chromium. https://www.chromium.org/Home. Another good alternative to Firefox failure. This is a free alternative to Google Chrome. This supports a wide array of addons and is very good at rendering web pages like Youtube quickly.

This is why you do not use Firefox anymore. It is too much of a risk.

Firefox is going down the drain fast.
Firefox is going down the drain fast.

The useless developers at Mozilla are not expecting to fix this until Wednesday at the earliest. So get another browser and dump this crappy poorly coded browser for good. I hope someone forks the code of Firefox and makes a proper build that actually works. Although, it is a bad thing when projects have too many forks. I remember seeing a 4chan fork of the Linux kernel, that did not last very long. But we need a fix sooner than later. This is very embarrassing. This is why tech is going down the drain. The brain drain is real.

Fix this now, not in 5 days!
