A very nice tool to help detect AI content written by ChatGPT.

This tool I found is a very useful way to detect AI-written content. It can detect writing done by the ChatGPT tool. This would be very useful for a teacher who needs to see if the content was written by a human or by ChatGPT. So, this is very interesting and works great. I tested it with human-written text and text written by ChatGPT and it spotted the AI text right away. Paragraphs written by AI have a certain fingerprint and this is easily spotted. I am sure other software like Turnitin will also implement this functionality as well. In turn, it would then be harder to pass off AI-written content as actual work in the future. Plagiarism is a big problem, but if there is a tool that can help spot this, it would really help out educational institutions all around the world. It is unlikely that ChatGPT or any language model could be used to generate a university essay or dissertation that would pass inspection as a completely original, independently written piece of work. While language models such as ChatGPT can generate coherent and human-like text, they do not have the ability to conduct original research, gather and analyze data, or engage in critical thinking in the same way that a human writer can.

Simply put, a language model can only produce text based on the patterns and styles it has been trained on, and it cannot produce truly original insights or ideas.
