This new computer monitor is a 4K screen that displays 3840×2160 pixels. That is incredible. I have two 1680×1050 monitors and I can not imagine using a screen that high res; you would be set for real estate if you had two of them side by side. That would be 7680×2160 pixels. That would be incredible. I hope that everyone will be using screens at this resolution; then you would never run out of space on your desktop. Even a 3360×1050 desktop is not enough for me. Of course an 8K wide screen display would be the best; just imagine it. You would be able to watch 8K videos in their native resolution. Windows 8 with its giant window borders would be very ugly on such a large screen; and the super high resolution would not help; but an operating system with more attractive themes would be a better match. Still; working on high resolution photographs in Photoshop or GIMP would be much improved with this resolution. Like the first time you went from 800×600 to a 1920×1200 pixels monitor. The difference is astounding.
