New Arma 3 Creator DLC takes us to the desert.

The new Creator DLC for Arma 3 is set in the Sahara Desert. This seems to have more equipment suited to the location such as a ZSU-23-2 and Kamaz trucks. Although it also has a reskinned BTR Kamysh, which is lazy, but OK. Located in the northeast of Argana, the mineral-rich province of Sefrou-Ramal has been a hotspot of unrest for many years due to rival tribes, underfunded peacekeeping forces, and a foreign military presence. Characterized by flowing sand dunes and desert architecture, this 100km² terrain is composed of completely new assets, as well as upgraded structures and objects from Arma 2 and Arma 3, making it as beautiful as it is mesmerizing. Only 100 sq KM is a bit small, but it should work pretty well. If only the developers could fix the performance issues in this game instead of releasing DLC after DLC. But this is how the gaming market works these days. They are too lazy to fix performance issues and just want money from the game. They do not even care about making the engine properly multicore and just release new useless content instead. This has to stop. screenshot of this DLC though, it shows off the ZSU-23-2 static weapon and the desert map.

One cool addition though is a Drone UAV with a machine gun in it. Since modern UAV drones can be large enough to carry 80 KG, this is not too far fetched. I just wish the outdated RV 4 engine Arma 3 uses actually used more than 1 CPU core. Microsoft Flight Simulator uses 6 and DOOM Eternal uses 4. Even The Witcher uses multicore to deal with populated areas. So to say that there is no benefit to multicore usage in 2021 is total BS. Call of Duty : Warzone gets greater FPS from 16 cores. That is amazing. But the Enfusion engine will probably not even use all CPU cores. Therefore it is a waste of programming time.
