Nice radio stations to listen to on WebSDR.

There are a lot of interesting radio stations to listen to on the Wide-band WebSDR at http://websdr.ewi.utwente.nl:8901/.

WRMI Miami International: 7781.39 AM.

US AirForce communications: 11175 USB. More information on this frequency. http://www.ominous-valve.com/hfgcs.txt.

SKYKING is a message priority. It means “I have urgent/time sensitive traffic and the station that this is for will understand” and they usually follow a Skyking with football terminology or a rock band name. Likely, saying “Nirvana” is a preselected code word for a mission order or instruction. We don’t keep Nightwatch (E-4B) or any B-52s airborne 24-7 like we used to, but there is always a Doomsday that can be airborne in 5 minutes upon command, as well as 30-50 nuclear armed B-52s and B-2s. “This is (XXXXXXX) with a test count: 1-2-3-4-5–5-4-3-2-1. This is (XXXXXXX) out.”

It’s them making sure their transmitters work. A ‘radio check’ in comms parlance.

7373.83 KHZ. AM. Foreign radio station.

7347.30 KHZ. AM. Another foreign station.

14018.0 KHZ. USB. Morse Code.

9592.30 KHZ. AM. Spanish radio station.

7432.25 KHZ. AM. Radio Romania International.

9865.21 KHZ AM. Unknown Chinese station.
