Original Windows NT4.0 file manager available for modern Windows releases.

The original file manager that was featured in Windows NT 4.0 is now available for a modern 64-bit operating system. This is a Visual Studio solution and will build on a modern Windows operating system. Microsoft are gradually open-sourcing old parts of Windows. This is a good thing I think. This would be very interesting to have on a computer and run from time to time.

Here is the link: https://github.com/Microsoft/winfile.

Here are the rest of the Microsoft open-source projects. This goes to show that Microsoft are starting to embrace open-source methods of distributing code. Very good idea for the future. Although this does not make up for releasing Windows 10. But they are helping with other projects such as the Apache web server, and they have released a Web Application Firewall that will help secure an Apache server installation.

https://github.com/Microsoft/ModSecurity. Very good idea on Microsoft`s part. Although it is forked from this repo: https://github.com/SpiderLabs/ModSecurity.
