It is good to read the comments whilst viewing the video at the same time, this is interesting, but this is quite a change. YouTube did use something similar in 2005 with the related video box beside the video player. So that is one point. Even on the smaller PC screens in 2005, you could have a layout like this. But I do wish we could have the option to use a 2005 YouTube layout nowadays. Even though the 2007 layout was pretty squashed with the video player and the information side by side, this still does work. I do miss the star ratings and the video responses. In early 2005, YouTube did not have as many features as it has now, like theatre mode. My YouTube page still has the dislike button, even though it does not work. But anyone complaining about the layout needs to look at how YouTube looked in 2005. It was very similar.
