New Stalker 2 update.
The S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 website has updated with a new music track and high-res background. This shows the old Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant sarcophagus and a guy with a gas mask on. This seems to encapsulate the Stalker feel very well. Hopefully it will live up to the previous games. Shadow of Chernobyl was for most people, their first introduction to Stalker, and the new game seems that it will deliver just as much of the Eastern European feel poverty feel as SoC did. Adding new artifacts, and new mutants as well as bringing back old favorites like the Bloodsucker and Snork would be the best. The song on the website is in wav format, and is 65 megabytes. But it can be compressed by converting it to ogg.

It would be great to see more of the beta map areas in Stalker 2. The screenshot below is the Bar map Oblivion Lost Remake. This is the 2.5 version, this has all of the beta Stalker maps in one standalone game. And it has good gameplay, and a lot of very nice artifacts.
And the Rostok map in Shadow of Chernobyl. This is also worth reworking, it would be great to visit that area and actually walk on the train tracks and explore further around the area. There are a few industrial buildings around Wild Territory that could do with interiors. They could have cool things in them, even if it was boring stuff like offices. Call of Pripyat had the Jupiter plant recreated in it. That worked quite well. Even a harmless looking factory could harbor a Burer or even a Controller.
